Police say a fishing trip ended badly for a Tulsa man Sunday morning.

Rafael Marquez Castillo was arrested after his Ford Crown Victoria hung up on cable barriers on Highway 11 near Harvard. A passerby called police to report that a man's car was wrecked on the cables, and he was passed out behind the wheel.

About 50 feet of cable barrier on the inside lane of the highway was damaged. Castillo was not injured, but arresting officers say he had a very strong odor of alcohol, blood shot eyes and slurred speech.

According to an officer at the scene, the 31-year-old Castillo had been on a fishing trip. There were several poles in the car.

He was booked into Tulsa Jail for third or more driving under the influence offense, driving without insurance and driving with a suspended license.
