Muskogee Police Locate Missing 5 Year Old

Muskogee police officers located a missing 5-year-old boy.

According to a news release, just after 6:30 Monday night officers responded to the 400 block of Grandview Boulevard in reference to a missing child report.

Officers said they spoke with Sharon Rosales who said she noticed her son, Roy Rosales, walked away from home.

Police said they did a short search around the home but were unable to locate the child.

They said at some point Roy took a phone from a house located on Fenwick Street. Officers said they had dispatch ping the phone a got a large location area before the phone was turned off.

Officers said they called in reserve officers and K9 officers and were able to locate the child safely.
