Two Bartlesville Men Charged With Firing Guns Outside Shopping Center

Washington County prosecutors have charged two Bartlesville men with shooting with intent to kill after a March 25 incident in the parking lot of a local business.

Washington County prosecutors have charged two Bartlesville men with shooting with intent to kill after a March 25, 2015, incident in the parking lot of  a local business. 

The pair, Thomas Myers, 36, and James Myers, 33, were arrested after police were sent to the Travelers Motel on Frank Phillips Boulevard.

According to a court affidavit, witnesses told officers shots were fired from a moving vehicle at a black SUV in a shopping center parking lot. Police said one bullet hole was found in the front window of a local store nearby. They said no one in the store was injured.

Both Thomas and James Myers are being held in the Washington County jail on $250,000 bond each. Both have a court appearance set for April 17.
