The Tulsa Drillers and Tulsa Roughnecks are pitching in to help rebuild fields in Sand Springs that were destroyed by last week's tornado.

The Tulsa Drillers and Tulsa Roughnecks are pitching in to help rebuild fields in Sand Springs that were destroyed by last week's tornado.

Brothers Dale and Jeff Hubbard, who own both the Drillers and the Roughnecks, have pledged a $5,000 donation to Sand Springs Youth Baseball's fund to repair Jerry Adair Park.

The Drillers will also donate autographed sports items to be auctioned off at next week's season-opening homestand.

The Roughnecks will hold an auction at Saturday's match to benefit the Sand Springs soccer fields that were damaged, and the team is also offering the sod currently covering the baseball diamond at ONEOK Field to be used to repair playing surfaces.
