A Tulsa woman is looking for the two Good Samaritans who saved her life Friday, May 1. She wants to give them a huge thank you.

Robin Fowler had just popped a peppermint in her mouth, turned up the radio, heard a song she liked and was about to sing along, when she started choking and couldn't breathe.

She had just pulled up to the intersection of 51st and Memorial in Tulsa. It was 7 a.m. and she threw the car into park and jumped out.

"It was the worst feeling ever. I can't breathe. I don't want to die in the middle of the intersection," said Robin Fowler.

She waved her arms, doing the universal sign for choking and two women jump out of their cars and race toward her. One called 911 and the other woman gets behind her and begins doing the Heimlich maneuver.

"She just got behind me and got to pushing. I don't want to hurt you. I'm thinking, just go, just get it," said Robin Fowler.

"After 4-5 pushes, I feel the peppermint, it doesn't come out, but it goes down. I instantly feel relief and start breathing and just, what a relief."

The two women stayed with Robin until EMSA came, but she doesn't know who they are and would love to find them so she can meet them in better circumstances and give them a proper thank you.

"Tears, crying, just thank them, hug them, tight," said Robin Fowler.

Robin says she was pretty shook up that first night and it took her a couple of days to tell her nine-year-old son about it, but when she did, he had some pretty good advice.

"He was like, Mom, no more peppermints, throw them in the trash. That peppermint bag is in the trash," said Robin Fowler.

She says a lot of people might have just driven by and shot video and she is so glad these two women, one white, one black, both, she thinks, in their 40's, stopped to help a stranger.

"I'm so thankful, from the bottom of my heart," said Robin Fowler.
