Annual Hogs 'N' Hot Rods Festival Takes Over Collinsville Main Street

For the 14th year in a row, Collinsville nearly tripled in size and people overran the town for the annual Hogs ‘N' Hot Rods festival.

Organizers say this year may have been the biggest to date, as more than 200 cars and motorcycle entries and nearly 10,000 visitors lined the town's Main Street and surrounded some of the area's best food.

This year, organizers combined the Hogs ‘N' Hot Rods car and bike show with the Back Alley BBQ Cook-Off and Gourmet Burger competition, allowing food lovers to sample and vote for their favorite.

Younger car fans weren't left out. This year the Feed Store Kid's Zone had crafts, games, free inflatables, train rides and Tulsa City-County's Imagination Station, according to a news release.

Music fans were also in for a treat with the Collinsville Downtown, Inc.'s Live at the Crown – Vocal Contest.

Hogs ‘N' Hot Rods started with a flag ceremony at 9:00 Saturday morning and the first vocal contestant took the stage just before 10:00.

The festival goes until late Saturday evening, wrapping up with the car and motorcycle awards ceremony at 4:30, followed by the Back Alley BBQ Competition awards.
