TULSA, Oklahoma - Police say a man getting out of his van in east Tulsa late Sunday was robbed at gunpoint. 

Officers said the robbery occurred outside a home in the 11500 block of East 22nd Street just after 11 p.m. The victim told police a man approached him, pointed a gun at his head and demanded his wallet. 

Police after getting the victim's wallet and cell phone, the man ran away. 

The victim described the robber as a chubby black male in his late teens or early 20s, wearing a white t-shirt, black pants and short stubby twists of hair on his head.

Police said the victim was not injured and the victim's cell phone was recovered a short distance away.
