Main draw action started Tuesday at the $15,000 Tulsa Pro Championships at Philcrest Hills.

University of Tulsa standout Or Ram-Harel faced former UCLA star Nicholas Meister. Ram-Harel won the long first set in a tiebreaker. He then dropped the second set, but rallied big to win the third.

Final numbers: 7-6, 2-6, and 6-4

Zeke Clark of Tulsa got the wild card into the main draw. He started off good, taking the opening set against Walker Duncan. He then slumped in the second but prevailed in the third to advance.

Final numbers: 6-3, 1-6, 6-1

Nineteen-year-old tennis star Noah Rubin opened with a 6-4, 6-4 win over the No. 3 seed. Rubin spent his freshman season at Wake Forest University, but decided to turn pro two weeks ago.

Less than a year ago, he won the Wimbledon Junior Boys' Singles title. "There's a lot of thought that goes into it, and [it's] almost as tough as making the decision to go to school in the first place,” said Rubin. “I felt I was ready, and I saw all of my competitors everywhere in the pros and I'm either beating them or got close and I just miss it so much so I knew it was time to get out there."

The matchups will continue through Sunday.
