Police Look For Suspect In North Tulsa Shooting

Tulsa police say an argument over stolen property ended with one man shooting another several times.

Tulsa Police are searching for a suspect they say shot a man Sunday in north Tulsa. It happened just before noon in the 3100 block of East Woodrow Place.

Authorities say the victim went to a house to confront someone over stolen property.The suspect and a woman drove up. The two men got into an argument, and the shooter went inside the house and got a .22-caliber rifle.

"He went inside, retrieved the rifle, came back out and started firing shots," said Sergeant Rex Mann, Tulsa Police. Mann said they believe the man was hit three or four times.

The shooting victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition. His name has not been released.

Police say they believe the shooter drove off in a dark-colored SUV. If you know anything that can help them, call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
