Around 130 years ago, a young Will Rogers would have spent his summers on the family ranch, roping, gardening, and helping to work the cattle.
This week, Green Country kids are getting the chance to step back in time and see what that life was like.
The Frontier Days kids camp gives them a chance to learn about life on the frontier. They will take part in 1880s games, fish, build fences and go fishing, among other things.
There are several other events throughout the summer at the Will Rogers homestead including the Will Rogers and Wiley Post Annual Fly-In, tours and food truck Fridays.
