Public Service Company of Oklahoma says a blown switch at a substation at 96th and Yale Thursday morning led to a power outage in southeast Tulsa.

The utility says the problem switch locked out some power lines at another substation at 77th and Memorial.

PSO says they were able to reroute power and restore power to 5,700 customers at about 7:40 a.m.

The company says the remaining 4,000 customers had their power restored by 8:30 a.m.
