A Tulsa mother arrested after police rescued her 10-month-old girl from a burning home was charged Thursday with child neglect.

Prosecutors also charged Montrenique Morris with assault and battery, and drug possession.

An officer looking for a stabbing suspect over the weekend spotted the burning home and kicked open the door when he heard the baby screaming.

The little girl wasn't hurt.

The officer said Morris was the stabbing suspect he was looking for in the first place.
