Mother Says Public Welcome At Funeral Service For Verdigris Boy

The funeral service for a Verdigris boy who died this weekend will be open to the public, his mother tells News On 6. Services for Riyley Beck will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Southeast Baptist Church in Tulsa.

Riyley survived a heart infection during the last year but needed a new heart. In April, he got a desperately needed heart transplant and in June, his family invited us to their house for his sixth birthday.

Last week, his family said he had to go to St. Louis Children's Hospital for heart failure, and he never recovered.

His family tells News On 6, "Riley is home in a place we can only dream of."

If you want to send flowers to the service, the family said Ladybug's Flowers & Gifts is delivering. Supporters are welcome to attend the service for the Riley as well.
