A California company is recalling its cucumbers after a salmonella outbreak that's sickened 285 people in 27 states and killed a San Diego woman. Seven cases of the outbreak have been identified in Oklahoma, according to the Oklahoma State Department of Health.

Andrew & Williamson Fresh Produce of San Diego on Friday voluntarily recalled its "Limited Edition" brand garden cucumbers, which were grown in Mexico.

For the current list of the stores and retail establishments that purchase cucumbers from Andrew & Williamson, please visit the webpage at the link below. Whole Foods, Sam's and Walmart are listed. A media representative from Whole Foods said the Tulsa locations did not carry the cucumbers in question. The list may be updated in the future, according to the OSDH.

List Of Stores That May Have Purchased Contaminated Cucumbers

Health officials say the cukes are the likely cause of hundreds of illnesses since July 3 and the Aug. 17 death of a 99-year-old woman. Half the people who became ill are under 18 years of age.

Contaminated garden-variety cucumbers may still be in grocery stores, restaurants, and in consumer’s homes.  Recommendations for consumers:
•    Oklahomans having purchased cucumbers for which they do not know the source should either discard the cucumbers or contact the store of purchase to determine the distributer.
•    Oklahomans having cucumbers were distributed by Anderson & Williamson should not consume them.
•    If you have cucumbers, but do not know where the cucumbers came from, do not eat but discard the cucumbers.
•    At this time, Oklahomans should not eat cucumbers at food establishments if you do not know the source.

The cucumbers were distributed in Alaska; Arizona; Arkansas; California; Colorado; Florida; Idaho; Illinois; Kansas; Kentucky; Louisiana; Minnesota; Mississippi; Montana; Nevada; New Jersey; New Mexico; Oklahoma; Oregon; South Carolina; Texas, and Utah.

Previous salmonella outbreaks have been linked to products ranging from to chicken to chia powder.
