Tulsa Robber Locks Worker In Walk-In Cooler, Steals Cash

Police are looking for the man who robbed a Subway restaurant Monday night.

Officers said the robbery at the restaurant in the 11600 block of East 31st Street happened just after 10:30 p.m.

Police said an employee told them a man wearing a black bandana over his face showed a large knife and demanded money from the register. After the employee handed over cash the robber forced him into a walk-in cooler. Police said the robber then put a table in front of the door and left.  

Officers said the employee escaped and called 911. Police have not released a detailed description of the robber.
