Trail Of Stolen Loot Leads Tulsa Police To Burglary Suspect
TULSA, Oklahoma - Police arrested a man they saw running away from a Tulsa business that had been burglarized early Thursday.
Officers were called to Avcom Productions in the 3100 block of South 108th East Avenue at around 3 a.m. They saw a man running towards Highway 169 carrying three bags of stolen property.
Police said the man dropped numerous items taken in the burglary. Police followed the dropped items and took the man into custody.
They identified the suspect as Matthew Thomason, 32, of Mounds.
Officers said Thomason gained access to the business by breaking a window, then loaded up three bags and left. Police believe they recovered everything that was taken.
