Cold As Ice, Waiting For A Girl Like You, and I Want To Know What Love Is, are all huge hits for the rock group, Foreigner.

The group will be at the BOK Center Friday night, and a dozen students from Bristow High School will be on stage to sing with them.

The choir members from Bristow High School are rehearsing with director Mike Sanford, getting ready for their big moment.

"We get to sing with Foreigner on Friday night October 9th," Sanford said.

They entered a contest, Rock Then Roll for UR School, sponsored by radio station 103.3 The Eagle.

"Basically you had to send in a recording of your version of 'I Want to Know What Love is," Sanford explained.

That was one of Foreigner's biggest hits.

The band's been doing this choir promotion since 2012, with the winning choir getting $500 from Foreigner for their music program. In three years, they've helped more than 200 schools.

Part two is a deal with Ford called Drive For UR School. The choir hosts an event at, in this case, Bolin Ford in Bristow on Friday afternoon.

Sanford said, "Anyone who test drives a Ford from 2:00 p.m. until 5:30 p.m., they are gonna donate $20 to our choir program."

Ford has raised more than $25 million since they started their part eight years ago.

So, Friday night, it's Def Leppard, Foreigner and Tesla at the BOK Center, and the Bristow High School Choir.

And if you’d like to help raise some money, get down to Bolin Ford in Bristow for a test drive Friday afternoon.
