Police: Alcohol Likely A Factor In Tulsa Motorcycle Crash

Tulsa Police say alcohol may have played a role in a crash that sent a motorcyclist to the hospital overnight. It happened just after 1 a.m. on eastbound Broken Arrow Expressway near the Utica entrance ramp.

Officers told News On 6 the motorcyclist was entering the highway at a high rate of speed when he lost control of his motorcycle.

The motorcycle flipped and ended up in the grassy center median. EMSA took the driver to a local hospital mostly as a precautionary measure as he wasn't seriously injured, authorities said.
