Charges were filed on Friday against a semi driver who led law enforcement officers on a high-speed chase that stretched from Kansas into Oklahoma.
The chase started after 9 p.m. in Montgomery County, Kansas and went east through Labette and down Highway 69 to Miami, Oklahoma.
A News On 6 viewer grabbed his cell phone and took a video as officers and the suspect flew past him on Main Street in Miami.
Court records show the front tires of the semi were missing after Gary White, of Russellville, Ark., drove through stop sticks in Montgomery County, Kansas. He continued to drive the truck recklessly with blown-out tires, officers said.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said White eventually stopped after he crashed through a barricade.
Troopers said they found meth and drug paraphernalia in the cab.
White was treated for head injuries and now is in the Ottawa County jail.
