Pistol Pete has been the mascot of Oklahoma State University for more than 90 years. Pete is the iconic image of famed cowboy Frank Eaton.

The OSU Institute of Technology in Okmulgee honored Eaton Monday - in a big way. They unveiled a 12-foot statue of Frankie, the character which Pistol Pete is model after.

Monday would have been Frankie's 115th birthday, and OSU is proud to celebrate and share the statue with the city of Okmulgee.
