TU: Montgomery, Mudoh, Floyd Talk Losses And Upcoming Game vs. SMU

Philip Montgomery, Michael Mudoh and Connor Floyd addressed the media on Tuesday in TU’s weekly press conference to discuss their loss to Memphis and upcoming game against SMU.

Mudoh on getting back to winning:

"I feel like we have yet to put a complete game together and show who Tulsa really is. We don't really try to hang ourselves down from that game. We try to make our adjustments as quick as possible."

Montgomery on record reflecting team:

"I think that what we're doing is much better than what our record is showing, now. At the end of the day, they're all going to look at the win-loss column, but I think our guys have taken a lot of steps forward.”

Floyd on SMU Coach Chad Morris’ system:

Note: Floyd played for Morris in high school.

“[In] Coach Morris' offense we were pass first, but they are pretty similar in the way they are with tempo, spread out.”

Montgomery on facing SMU:

"I think more than anything else they're the next game in our schedule. We're still trying to fight and gain respect and we don't have it yet, but our guys are working towards that.  I don't know if it's singled out towards SMU or to anybody in particular in the conference."
