Tulsa police are investigating after a man reportedly chased down his ex-girlfriend and fired shots at the truck she was riding in overnight Sunday. Records show the incident started when the ex-boyfriend shows up at the woman's job in the 8100 block of East 21st Street.

She found a male friend to give her a ride home in an attempt to avoid the boyfriend who instead started following the other man's pickup, police say.

Police got involved when they saw the pickup driving erratically and speeding in the area of 8900 East 11th Street around 3 a.m. When stopped, the two people in the car told police they'd been chased and shot at by the ex-boyfriend.

Officers found bullet holes in the victims' truck, but no one was injured. They also found the ex-boyfriend's car where he'd wrecked it. He had left the scene.

Police are still investigating the incident and haven't released any names.
