The Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) released an update on the number of citations issued since the new texting-and-driving law went into effect on November 1.
According to the OHP, as of 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, November 8, troopers have issued 85 citations and 49 warnings for inattention/texting-while-driving.

If you are caught texting and driving, you face a $100 fine. Drivers with permits or graduated licenses risk suspension or loss of their license if they are caught texting and driving.
