TULSA, Oklahoma - Tulsa Public Schools say police have arrested a burglary suspect Tuesday morning, which prompted five Tulsa schools to be placed in lockdown.

The district said the six school campuses were placed on lockdown as a safety precaution.

The schools are: Peary Elementary, Cooper Elementary, Disney Elementary, Lewis and Clark Elementary and East Central Junior High and East Central High School.

The lockdown was lifted shortly after 12 p.m., according to TPS.
