Tulsa Tough Organizers Announce Fall Racing Event

With ten years of success behind the Saint Francis Tulsa Tough, organizers announced Tuesday they're adding a fall bicycle racing event.

It's called Cyntergy Hurtland, which is a cyclocross racing event.

The first one is this Saturday at Owen Park.

Tulsa Tough Director Malcolm McCollam said, "It's crazy to watch. These guys will go throughout the park, in the grass, through the creek, up the stairs…they have to dismount and get off of their bicycles, and jump over barricades. It's a lot of fun."

Organizers are also hosting a "Disco Drome." It's an indoor cycle racing event on Friday evening.

Red Bull is setting up a special wooden track inside Cain's Ballroom.

And, as part of Tuesday's news conference, organizers presented a $5,000 check to the Tulsa Children's Museum.
