Police arrested 29-year-old Anthony Michael Jackson at his home in the 1600 block of Cedar around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday. Officers said someone recognized Jackson's red Nissan Altima and called police.
Enid police believe Jackson is the only person responsible for the shootings. According to a sergeant we spoke with, Jackson was driving around random neighborhoods and shooting at cars.
Fortunately no one was hurt. But a dog was shot and is expected to survive.
Police said the only contact they've had with him prior to Wednesday night's arrest were traffic citations. He's reportedly not being cooperative with police.
Jackson was arrested on complaints of animal cruelty, use of a vehicle to facilitate intentional discharge of a firearm, and reckless conduct with a firearm.
As of 11:30 a.m. Thursday, police said they've received about 42 calls concerning damage to vehicles. They are still receiving calls.
