Sex Offender Arrested Outside Tulsa School Playground

A convicted sex offender from Missouri was arrested outside a Tulsa Catholic School playground. Andrew Rodiger was standing at the fence of a playground where a class was at play Friday, according to Tulsa Police.

He was taken into custody outside the Holy Family Cathedral at 820 South Boulder, records show.

Police learned he had not registered after moving to Tulsa, as required. His residence was also near a park at 6th and Main, according to police.

The 54-year-old man was booked on complaints of failure to register as a sex offender after a felony conviction and two counts of sex offender residency restriction violation. He's being held on a $30,000 bond.
