Search Underway For Prison Escapee In Tulsa County

Police are looking for a woman who walked away from an Oklahoma Department of Corrections facility in Tulsa County.  

The DOC says Shanna Dempster, 38, left the Turley Residential Center in the 6100 block of North Martin Luther King Boulevard on November 17.  

Court records show Dempster was serving a 12-year sentence for a Rogers County drug conviction.  

Authorities say Dempster should be considered armed and dangerous and you should call 911 if you see her.
