Earthquake Shakes Northeast Oklahoma

<p>An earthquake shook Tulsa and surrounding areas Monday afternoon.</p>

An earthquake shook Tulsa and surrounding areas Monday afternoon.

The earthquake struck at 3:17 p.m. in Alfalfa County and registered a preliminary 4.4 magnitude.

People all across the region took to the News On 6 Facebook page to report that they felt it.

Mary Ford Lampe wrote, "Yes, Ponca City, out by Kaw lake. My China cabinet & living room shook!"

"Yes, shook the house...again...91st and Yale. I seem to feel it more upstairs than downstairs," Sean Antle said.

So far no one has reported any damage or injuries.

At 3:36 p.m. a quake measuring 3.5 hit the same area.
