TULSA, Oklahoma - The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is warning drivers to be extra careful on the roads over the holiday weekend.  

The OHP has added extra patrols Thursday through Sunday across the state.  On Wednesday, the state's Insurance Commissioner John Doak rode along with troopers to see first-hand what they experience on the state's roadways.  

He said the OHP will be looking will be looking for seat belt violators, speeders, impaired drivers and drivers who are texting while driving.
