Tulsa firefighters were called to the Normandy Apartments near 36th and Sheridan after a candle caused an early morning fire. Five people were displaced by the two-alarm fire Saturday.

Authorities say the fire started after residents at one apartment left a candle burning overnight. It burned down and caught some nearby material on fire.

The fire was confined to the one apartment. Two more apartments had smoke damage.

Crews were dispatched to the apartment building around 6:30 a.m. No residents or firefighters were injured.

Red Cross has been called out to help the victims.
