OHP: One Dead In West Tulsa Head-On Crash

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol investigated a fatal head-on crash in west Tulsa Friday morning. Troopers and the Berryhill Fire Department said the scene of the crash is in the 5100 block of West Skyline Drive.  

Witnesses told authorities a man was westbound when he tried to pass another car. He crashed head-on into an eastbound SUV and died of massive injuries, troopers say.

State Trooper Chad Duarte told News On 6 the stretch of road is a no-passing zone.

The woman driving the SUV was trapped for about 20 minutes as firefighters worked to free her. She was taken to the hospital with multiple injuries but is expected to survive.
