Periods of moderate to heavy rain with embedded storms continues through Sunday morning in Green Country. A few storms may cause locally strong or damaging winds as a large system moves slow eastward.

A Flash Flood Watch is up for areas along and east of Highway 69 in eastern Oklahoma into Sunday for the threat of 2" to 4" of rain. Several rounds of heavy rain are likely.

The flooding threat will grow with each wave of heavy rain. Low-lying spots that typically flood may be covered in water for the start of the day Sunday in parts of far eastern and southeastern Oklahoma.

Rain and thunderstorms continued through the night Saturday and into early Sunday morning. Ponding on the roadways and gusty winds are likely with any storm tonight in the metro area.

The final squall line is pushing through Sunday with rain ending from west to east through midday. The threat of any severe weather will be over by Sunday morning as well. As the rain ends, temperatures will fall into the 50s by Sunday afternoon.
