Tulsa Police Arrest Person Of Interest In Fatal Shooting

Tulsa police arrested a person connected to a fatal shooting.

According to Sergeant Dave Walker, Mario Faulk was arrested just before 11 a.m. Monday in connection to the fatal shooting of a man at the Comanche Apartments.

Detectives identified Faulk as a person of interest, saying he is the current boyfriend of the woman who lives at the apartment complex. The victim has a child with the woman.

On December 19, officers responded to the complex in the 1300 block of East 38th Street North, where a wounded man was lying in the parking lot.

EMSA medics worked to save 33-year-old Ira Eugene White, who was taken to the hospital, where he later died.

Monday, Walker said in a statement, “Given the circumstances and evidence available, Faulk was arrested on first-degree manslaughter and possession of a firearm.
