A man suspected of car theft was located by a K9 officer Friday afternoon.

According to Tulsa Police, officers were dispatched to the McDonald’s near Pine and Peoria just before 1:00 p.m. for a suspected stolen car.

Police said of the victim said he saw a man and a woman sitting inside the truck.

The report says, when officers arrived, the suspect – later identified as Keith Honicutt – drove away and the woman jumped out of the truck and was taken into custody.

Officers found the truck around St. Louis and Oklahoma and set up a perimeter. They said a K9 unit found Honicutt hiding in an unlocked car a block away.
