In a night where Oklahoma State remembered the ten, the Cowboys wore throwback uniforms from 2001.

But the offense was also in throwback mode.

Mitchell Solomon played above average against a tough front.

"We made an emphasis to get the ball inside, so it wasn't because they were playing zone or anything; we were just being aggressive,” explained OSU head coach Travis Ford.

The second half didn’t start too well for the Cowboys; turnovers hurt their cause. Ford was visibly upset with the calls, and it left OSU frustrated with its sixth Big 12 loss.

"We didn't get off to the start we wanted to in the second half,” said Ford. “[We] gave them some quick points, especially Gathers. [We] turned the ball over too much in the second half. They shoot 12 more free throws than we did, so we got to look back at the film see what all happened."

Leyton Hammonds says his team can be better if they play how they practice.

"I [feel] like, [if] we just be mentally strong for 40 minutes, just like in practice, be mentally strong throughout instead of having ups and downs, feel like we can be better," he said.

After the game, Ford left the press conference after an opening statement and answering two questions. He then left the players to answer the questions.
