First place in the Big 12 is on the line tomorrow when the Sooners host Kansas at a sold out Lloyd Noble Center.

Tipoff is at 1:30 p.m. but ESPN's College Gameday will broadcast from Norman at 10:00 a.m.

The first meeting between the Sooners and the Jayhawks was one of the top games of the season so far with KU winning 109-106 in triple overtime.

Kansas head coach Bill Self says this year's OU team is one of the hardest to guard.

"Because all of them can get their own, all of them put pressure on the defense,” explained Self. “Cousins is a point, and he's got length and can get his own shot. And of course, Buddy can do a little bit of everything, and you got a stretch four, so I'd say Oklahoma is probably about as hard to guard as there's been in the league."

Self also said Hield will likely win Player of the Year because no one has impacted the game this season like he has.

"There's nobody else [besides Hield]. [There're] other talents,” said Self. “If Denzel [Valentine] hadn't gotten hurt, maybe you could make a case for him. [Ben] Simmons, you could make a case for best prospect without question, but no one has impacted the game like Buddy has. They can give that award out now."
