Ronda Rousey is one of the more brutally honest athletes in sports right now. She is not afraid to curse during interviews, and she isn't afraid to be open about her feelings. Appearing on The Ellen Degeneres Show in an interview scheduled to air on Tuesday, Rousey made her first lengthy public comments since losing her title and dominant, undefeated status to Holly Holm at UFC 193.

Calling these comments "candid" would be selling them short.

"I was down in the medical room and sitting in the corner, and I was like, 'What am I anymore if I'm not this?' I was literally sitting there and thinking about killing myself in that exact second," Rousey explained.

"I'm nothing. What do I do anymore? No one gives a s--- about me anymore if I'm not this. To be honest, I looked up and saw my man standing there, and I was like, 'I need to have his babies; I need to stay alive.'"

It is an extremely difficult thing for someone to talk about in public. Rousey also noted she was knocked out from the start of the fight.

"I got clipped in the first exchange; I was knocked out on my feet after the first hit. On that first hit, I cut open my mouth and knocked my teeth loose," she said.

"Guys fight for five, five-minute rounds and they are knocking each others faces in and nothing like that happens. It was almost like I couldn't see. I couldn't tell how far my hand was from my face or how far she was from me."
