Motorcyclist Killed In Four Vehicle South Tulsa Crash

Police say a Tulsa man was killed in a motorcycle collision involving three other vehicles near 71st Street South and Riverside Friday evening.

Officers were called to the crash in the eastbound lanes of 71st Street just before 6:45 p.m. 

Police said it appears traffic was slowing because of the traffic light at 71st and Riverside when a Jeep hit a motorcycle from behind knocking the rider off his bike and onto a second eastbound vehicle. The Jeep then struck a car.

EMSA took the rider, identified as William Ruth, 53, to a Tulsa hospital where he died shortly thereafter.
