Authorities blame a broken water main for icy conditions on a Catoosa highway that caused multiple crashes Friday morning.

Police say the crashes happened in the southbound lanes of Highway 66 between Pine and Highway 412 just before 6 a.m.

City of Tulsa water department workers are working to repair that 5-inch water main.  They expect to have it fixed by Friday evening.

Early Friday, one vehicle rolled over and at least three others slid off the road because of the ice. The vehicles involved the crashes have been removed, but police are still asking drivers to be careful.

No injures were reported in any of the crashes.
