TULSA, Oklahoma - The Tulsa fire department worked a grass fire Sunday afternoon. It started on the south side of the eastbound Creek Turnpike near Sheridan.

Firefighters got that fire out pretty easily, but then it picked up again to the east, spreading all the way to Memorial.  Strong winds pushed the fire east along the turnpike.

Firefighters worked near the bicycle trail to get the grass fire under control.
