Tulsa Woman Arrested On Suspicion Of Arson
TULSA, Oklahoma - A Tulsa woman is in jail after police say she set a fire inside a Tulsa apartment Tuesday. Megan Gabriella Forbes was booked on an $60,000 bond for first-degree arson and arson, endangering human life.
A police report states the 25-year-old woman set fire to a mattress and couch in someone's apartment and sent Facebook messages of "fire." When the resident returned home from work, they found Forbes lying "conscious and distorted" on the floor beside the burned bed, the report states.
Tulsa firefighters put out the fire and vented smoke from the apartment which police say is part of an occupied eight-unit building.
