Tulsa's Most Wanted Sought On Murder Charge

A man police say was fleeing from a hit-and-run wreck when he caused a fatality crash is Tulsa Police Department's Most Wanted suspect.

Martin Jamison is wanted for second-degree murder, larceny of an automobile and violating terms of probation. When captured, he will be held on a $670,000 bond.

Authorities say while running from a minor wreck, Jamison crashed into a truck near 5400 North Lewis Avenue. He killed the driver of the truck, 68-year-old Marvin Shahan.

Jamison was also injured in the wreck and was hospitalized. Police said they were awaiting toxicology results. Tulsa man has a long history of convictions on charges including possession of a stolen vehicle, burglary and fraud.

Jamison is 28 with black hair and brown eyes. He is 5'7" and weighs 155 pounds. If you see him, call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS. Callers remain anonymous.
