TULSA, Oklahoma - Police arrested two people after their SUV was involved in a crash at a Tulsa intersection early Wednesday.

Officers said a southbound SUV turned in front of a northbound car on Peoria at 11th Street just after midnight. The car hit the SUV.

After pulling into a nearby parking lot, the SUV's passenger and driver got out and ran. Police caught up with both about a block away.

Police said the driver was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence, and the passenger was arrested for public intoxication. Both were taken to jail.

Officers say no one in the car was injured.
