Tulsa firefighters used the Jaws of Life to cut a person out of an SUV after a head-on crash on Peoria at 55th Street.

The crash involved a Chevy HHR and a pickup. Officers believe the driver of the pickup suffered a medical condition prior to hitting the SUV.  Firefighters say two people in the Chevy HHR were injured.

Police said the pickup hit a vehicle at 31st and Peoria but continued southbound, hopped a curb at Weber's Root Beer at 38th and Peoria where it smashed through tables and chairs before eventually hitting the HHR at 55th and Peoria.

One driver saw that happen and started following him.

"I was angry when he barely missed me when I made the U-turn, I thought he was a drunk driver and, of course, they checked him out and his blood sugar of like 30 or something," said witness Rick Zizkefoose.

The witness also said the driver narrowly missed hitting a PSO bucket truck.

Police are still investigating the three crashes.
