Mother Files Wrongful Death Suit In Death Of 5-Year-Old

The mother of a 5-year-old boy who was found shot and killed filed a wrongful death suit against the man accused.

On March 19, police say Byron Creech violated a protective order and locked himself and the couple’s 5-year-old son, Braydon, inside Creech’s ex-wife’s apartment.

She called the police, and when officers arrived ten shots were fired. Investigators said after a 17-hour standoff Creech surrendered.

Officers found Braydon had been shot and killed. Creech is charged with first-degree murder.
