In the spirit of Easter Sunday, eggs filled with all kinds of goodies rained down on Sand Springs today.

Church that Matters hosted its annual helicopter egg drop at Clyde Boyd Middle School.

Two choppers from Tulsa County Helicopters dropped more than 20,000 plastic eggs as hundreds of families watched and waited patiently to fill their baskets.

"It amazing that these churches put both things that people celebrate about Easter for all into one," mother Bethany Bristle said.

This is the fifth year Church that Matters has hosted the event, one of several in the Tulsa metro area.

The church says about 1,600 people attended this year.
