Brickhugger LLC is planning a new development for the East Village near downtown Tulsa. The company, owned by the Snyder family, has purchased more than 11 acres of property.

They plan to develop the space for commercial, residential and retail purposes.

The property was purchased from NORDAM for $7.1 million.

Brickhugger is the development company responsible for the historic renovation of the Mayo Hotel.

NORDAM is in the process of moving is exhaust-component repair operations to Pine and Highway 169. The downtown facility served as the company's main headquarters for more than 30 years.

Brickhugger, LLC President Shelby Snyder said they are excited to unveil the plans for the site as they are finalized later this year.

"Our team looks forward to creating a unique, multi-use property for Tulsans while continuing to highlight the historic aspects of this area that are so significant to downtown Tulsa and its history."
