McDonald's of Oklahoma is offering free breakfasts to students in third through eighth grade Monday morning.

The company says students can get the food from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m.

"It's our pleasure to offer a wholesome meal to Oklahoma students to help them prepare for their state testing," said Greg LaPat, Oklahoma McDonald's franchisee and owner/operator.

"We want our students in Oklahoma to be as successful as possible and that is tough to do on an empty stomach."

Students will receive the following breakfast items: an Egg McMuffin, choice of apple slices or Strawberry Go-Gurt as well as one of the following beverages: apple juice, one percent low fat milk, or fat free chocolate milk.

McDonalds says it wants to make sure students have a good breakfast before standardized testing begins.
