The Tulsa Community College conference center and Bishop Kelley High School were on lockdown on Wednesday afternoon.

The lockdown was lifted about an hour later.

About 12:30 p.m., police said they were investigating a report of an attempted carjacking in the parking lot near 41st Street and Yale Avenue. Officials say someone with a knife approached an employee lot and tried to steal his car but was unsuccessful.

TCC issued an alert shortly after that said:

"Stay in place. Lock doors and take shelter where you are until further notice."

The suspect ran away from the area, but police tracked him to 36th and Yale, where he was found in a drainage ditch near the Little Light House, which is a school for young children with special needs.

TPD Officer Leland Ashley says dispatch took at least five more calls they think might be related to the same person, including a first-degree burglary call. Investigators are in the process of interviewing those callers to piece together a timeline and possibly add more complaints to the man's booking sheet.

He currently is being booked into the Tulsa County jail and we will update this story with his identity after the information is released.
